Heating and Cooling Systems for an Institute Building

New construction of the heating and cooling systems for the four-story FIT institute building in Bayreuth. The heating and cooling supply is provided by two reversible air-to-water heat pumps on the roof with propane (R290) as refrigerant and a capacity of approx. 45 kW each. For room temperature control, three heating/cooling ceiling systems (sails, baffles, convection elements) are installed in a 4-pipe system. The heating technology trade dominates the tender, supplemented by cooling technology and fire protection works.
