Slurry Wall Joint Renovation for Max-Weber-Platz Subway Station: Civil Engineering and Concrete Repair

Renovation of slurry wall joint covers at Max-Weber-Platz subway station in Munich: Repair of damaged working joints between the slurry wall and cover structure due to inadequate sealing and corroded reinforcement. This includes concrete repair, earthworks, shoring, sealing, road construction, and utility protection works. Specifically, excavation of several construction pits up to approximately 4 m deep, securing existing supply and disposal lines, removal of protective concrete and damaged concrete using HDW technology, repair and supplementation of reinforcement, installation of concrete replacement systems, new construction of seals and protective concrete layers, sheet piling and trench shoring, concrete removal, concrete replacement, reinforcement and sealing works, and asphalt restoration in roadway and cycle path areas.
