Hazardous material remediation for the Stadthaus Grafenstraße, divided into three construction phases: 1. Construction Phase (January 18, 2027 to July 9, 2027): Dismantling of floor coverings including asbestos-containing adhesive and leveling compound (3,400 m²), asbestos cement ventilation ducts in shafts (3 units), flanges with asbestos-containing seals (80 units), valves with asbestos-containing gland packings (30 units), sectional radiators with asbestos-containing seals (291 units); removal of wallpaper from ceilings (4,400 m²) and walls (9,300 m²); dismantling of asbestos-containing filler/plaster on walls (1,700 m²), ceilings (940 m²) and door connections (35 m²); dismantling of pipes including artificial mineral fiber (KMF) insulation (340 m), ventilation system including ventilation ducts with KMF insulation (70 m²), plasterboard walls with KMF insulation (520 m²); stripping of stair railings and railings with polychlorinated biphenyl (PCB)- and heavy metal-containing paint (9 units); dismantling of heating pipes with heavy metal-containing paint (1,200 m). 2. Construction Phase (April 11, 2028 to July 12, 2028): Dismantling of floor coverings including asbestos-containing adhesive and leveling compound (350 m²); removal of wallpaper from ceilings (350 m²) and walls (550 m²); dismantling of grid ceiling panels made of pressed KMF (80 m²), plasterboard walls with KMF insulation (150 m²), cable protection pipes with polycyclic aromatic hydrocarbon (PAH)-containing cardboard (2,000 m), PAH-containing cable protection sheathing made of fabric (1,000 m). 3. Construction Phase (November 28, 2028 to March 6, 2029): Dismantling of asbestos-containing putty in window sashes (87 units) and corridor doors (20 units) in external black areas; dismantling of roof structure with asbestos-containing roofing membrane and PAH-containing cork grit insulation (35 m²); dismantling of cast iron pipes with PAH-containing paint (70 m).
