Switchable Beam Dump
Manufacturing, assembly, testing, and delivery of a switchable beam dump as a build-to-print supply: includes manufacturing review. The beam dump serves radiation and personnel protection for safe absorption of the particle beam. Approved manufacturing documentation is provided; the contractor reviews this during the Manufacturing Design Review (MDR) and may propose justified changes. Scope includes mechanical and vacuum components, drive system, sensors, controls, documentation, Factory Acceptance Test (FAT), and Site Acceptance Test (SAT). Optional items: external frame for chamber removal and reinstallation, installation of the chamber using the external frame at the contractor's final site.
