Sediment retention for complex renovation of Quitzdorf Dam

Construction of a sediment and solid retention facility during the dewatering of Quitzdorf Dam: Preparation and construction of an operational facility for retaining discharged sediment by a reservoir water level of approx. 154.50 m NNw at the latest; maintenance of this operational facility until commissioning, including immediate commissioning upon request; operation of the facility under continuous monitoring, including monitoring and necessary adjustments, until complete dewatering; dismantling and site restoration of the facility (excluding access for fishing and setup area for geotextile tubes including drainage hoses and drainage facilities). The construction site is located on the airside of the main dam entirely within the LTV operational area of Quitzdorf Dam, with parts of the construction site overlapping with a Flora-Fauna-Habitat (FFH). The task is to be understood functionally, with the contractor responsible for both the technical implementation and the operation of the facility. The basic solution involves the use of geotextile tubes on an impermeable base for sediment retention in the bypass of the Schwarzer Schöps.
