Hydrological modeling for water supply and pond management in Upper Lusatia

Hydrological modeling of the water balance including water management of pond farms in Upper Lusatia: Creation of a hydrological model for the catchment area of the Kleine Spree from Spreewiese to the Lohsa I reservoir. The model is used to calculate the water supply and water demand of the pond farms, and to investigate questions regarding actual water demand, available water when draining ponds, losses due to evaporation and seepage, and the optimal proportion of flow-through volume for the ponds. The goal is to optimize pond management, develop a low-water concept, and provide recommendations for a measuring station concept. This is sub-project 4 B of a larger project on water supply management.
