Storage System for IT Infrastructure

Delivery, setup, and commissioning of a storage system: Replacement of an existing Hitachi Virtual Storage Platform G700 and an HNAS 4060 system; the new system must have 140 TB higher storage capacity and offer at least 625 TiB effective usable capacity and 24x 16/32 Gbit SR FC Ports. Setup is to be performed in manufacturer's racks with basic configurations. Complete data migration from the old systems is required, management software to be implemented (including provision of suitable server hardware by the contractor), and existing management VLAN to be used. GeoSN administrators are to be trained on-site after commissioning and will receive a follow-up workshop after approximately 6 weeks. System documentation must be provided. The project includes milestones such as kick-off, creation and acceptance of a migration concept, system basic installation and configuration, basic testing, migration preparation and execution, application/user-level tests, acceptance by GeoSN, and dismantling and disposal of old systems. The storage system must meet "A"-criteria and achieve at least 50% of "B"-criteria. A redundancy test must be performed before migration. Migration will occur during ongoing production, with necessary additional licenses provided cost-neutrally. System service (maintenance and care) is to be offered with a minimum contract duration of 60 months, automatically extending by one year thereafter, including semi-annual proactive audits.
