Spectrophotometer for HUS Diagnostic Center

Delivery of a UV-Vis Spectrophotometer: For use in the Special Chemistry Laboratory of the HUS Diagnostic Center for qualitative and quantitative determinations in metabolism and porphyria analytics, for checking standard solution concentrations for in-house methods, and for analyzing patient samples. Additionally, for use in the Automation Laboratory for the examination of cerebrospinal fluid samples via spectrum scanning. The scope includes maintenance contracts for the equipment and a workstation with all necessary software components, installed on the workstation. An option for two additional identical spectrophotometers is included for the period 2027-2030. Current analyses include, among others, plasma hemoglobin determination by derivative from the spectrum, cerebrospinal fluid bilirubin and oxyhemoglobin by spectrum measurement, and other quantitative concentration measurements of compounds such as pyruvate, thiocyanate, and porphyrins.
