Road Repair Works for Voivodeship Road No. 843 Chełm – Kraśniczyn – Zamość
Road repair works for Voivodeship Road No. 843 on the section from km 14+100 to km 15+210: Surveying works, corrective milling of bituminous pavement up to 4.0 cm thick, reconstruction of the road edge structure with a frost protection layer of cement-bound mixture C1.5/2 (22 cm thick), unbound sub-base C90/3 (0/31.5 mm, 20 cm thick), and main sub-base AC 16P (10 cm thick). Mechanical cleaning of the pavement, inter-layer spraying with asphalt emulsion, execution of wearing course with mineral-asphalt mixture AC 11S (5 cm thick). Height adjustment of existing driveways (bituminous, unpaved, block paving) within the road right-of-way. Construction of shoulders from asphalt millings/aggregate 0-31.5 mm (1.0 m wide, 10 cm thick). Repair of an existing culvert ø 1000, restoration of horizontal markings. The road width on straight sections is 6.0 m, adapted on horizontal curves. The wearing course consists of asphalt concrete AC11S 50/70 KR 3-4 (min 5 cm thick). Corrective milling is performed up to a maximum depth of 4.0 cm. The reconstruction of the road edge structure includes a frost protection layer of hydraulically bound mixture C1.5/2 (22 cm thick), an unbound sub-base C90/3 (0-31.5 mm, 20 cm thick), and a mineral-asphalt sub-base AC16P 35/50 KR 3-4 (min. 10 cm thick). Shoulders are constructed 1.0 m wide and 0.10 m thick from asphalt millings or crushed stone 0-31.5 mm. Drainage remains unchanged. The culvert ø 1000 is repaired; existing concrete pipes and heads are demolished and disposed of. A new plastic pipe ø 1000 (PP or PE/HDPE, min. SN8 stiffness) is installed on a foundation bed of aggregate 0-31.5 mm (30 cm thick) or hydraulically bound mixture C 5/6 (25 cm thick). Backfill is done with non-cohesive, non-frost-susceptible soil (sand) with Is=min. 0.98. Embankment reinforcement at the culvert inlet and outlet and ditch embankments is done with concrete grid slabs 60x40x10 cm on a cement-bound sub-base C3/4 (10 cm thick). Ditches are desilted on both sides. The sidewalk next to the culvert is reconstructed using salvaged materials and new elements, with paving stones on a 4 cm cement-sand bedding and a 15 cm unbound sub-base C90/3 (0/31.5 mm). Above the culvert, the pavement structural layers are reconstructed: frost protection layer C90/3 (0/35.1, 24 cm thick) or cement-bound mixture C1.5/2 (22 cm thick), unbound sub-base C90/3 (0/35.1, 20 cm thick), asphalt concrete sub-base AC16P (10 cm thick), binder course AC16W (6 cm thick), wearing course AC11S (5 cm thick). An existing curb inlet is replaced with a new draining curb with a ø 160 mm outlet under the sidewalk to a slope channel. The slope channel is made of trapezoidal slope troughs 50x50/38/20/15 on a 10 cm cement-sand bedding C3/4. Existing safety barriers, railings, and segmental fences are dismantled and reassembled; railings next to the sidewalk are replaced with "Lublin type" U-11a segmental fences. further items as per the tender documents.
