Technical expert support for climate change adaptation and climate finance in Central and West Africa: Establishment and implementation of four new, validated ABM (Adaptation Benefits Mechanism) projects to catalyse up to 4 million Euro of public or private money through Certified Adaptation Benefits (CAB) in Benin, Ivory Coast, Senegal, and the Republic of Congo, including advisory services, technical and process-related assistance, basic studies, and development of ABM Methodologies; development of a pipeline of climate change adaptation projects using IsDB's financial instruments to leverage up to 50 million Euro of additional adaptation finance from public or private investors in Benin, Côte d'Ivoire, and Senegal, including conducting country-level consultation workshops and preparing relevant studies (gender, socio-economic, and environmental analyses); establishment of four Reverse Linkages and one Centre of Excellence in collaboration with IsDB in Benin, Ivory Coast, and Senegal, including support for stakeholder assessments, identification of knowledge providers, planning and establishing partnerships (duration 3 years), as well as assessing capacity needs and implementing capacity development plans; further items as per the tender documents.
