Managed Service for the fee, contract, and billing program system ("HOPSYS") of SWR: Application support, further development, operation, maintenance, and full responsibility for availability, stability, security, performance, troubleshooting, and adaptation to new requirements. Key services include operation and monitoring (system resources, logs, operational readiness, preventive measures), maintenance and updates (adaptation to state of the art, compatibility with SWR technologies, interfaces, IT policies, standards), 2nd/3rd-level support, further development (new functions, optimization, consulting, test system), quality assurance (requirements, test, and change management), knowledge management and documentation (system documentation, know-how transfer), and technical-expert consulting (problem analysis, development, optimization). Optional services include scaling the scope for larger adaptation and development requirements, as well as for application support of other applications with the same tech stack. The contract duration is 48 months (basic term) with optional extensions of 12 months each up to a maximum duration of 72 months. The award process is a two-stage, European negotiation procedure; up to five suitable bidders will be invited to submit an offer, and negotiations will take place with the three best bidders.

Screed works for new Multimedial News House SWR Mainz

Delivery and installation of broadcast functional components, cabling and furniture for the technical renewal of the Südwestrundfunk (SWR) regional studios in Freiburg, Ulm, Karlsruhe, Trier, Koblenz and Kaiserslautern. The measure includes the media technology cabling within and between rooms and within cabinets, and the setup of standardised functional units (units) such as radio production units (PE), modular multimedia production units (MMU), announcer units (SPR) and live points (LP). In addition, custom-made studio furniture such as height-adjustable presenter desks and racks are to be manufactured and installed according to construction drawings.
