Drywall Construction and Prefabricated Screed for the Renovation of Rostock University

Drywall construction and prefabricated screed for the fundamental renovation of the listed building of Rostock University at Parkstraße 6, starting July 2026: 1,250 sqm office partitions with sliding ceiling connection to existing ceilings, 168 m partition connection to existing walls, 205 m advanced boarding in the plinth area, 38 door openings, 100 sqm shaft walls, 125 sqm furring walls, 60 sqm installation walls. Floors include 4,400 sqm dry screed on 10 to 50 mm leveling fill and 470 m floor cable tray in double-sided wet screed strips (width 25 cm, height approx. 45 to 80 mm). Ceiling works involve 150 sqm lecture hall ceiling with square perforation and insulation layer, suspended from existing reinforced concrete ceiling through the historical lath and plaster ceiling, consisting of eight individual strips laid at a 30° angle to the horizontal; 560 sqm suspended ceilings with square perforation and insulation layer; 110 m various bulkheads. Furthermore, 2 room-in-room systems for enclosing ventilation units in the attic, 865 sqm pressure-resistant mineral fiber insulation with chipboard covering for the top floor ceiling. Acoustic elements include 373 glass wool ceiling sails in six sizes, 85 glass wool wall absorber elements in ten sizes, and 20 acoustic sails as a plastered plate system on site. WC partitions include 10 WC partition systems with a total of 27 doors, urinal partitions, and door stoppers.
