Collection and marketing of paper, cardboard, and carton (PPK fraction) in the city of Göttingen: The PPK fraction, an unsorted mixture of paper, cardboard, and carton (household collected goods, AVV-Nr. 15 01 01 and 20 01 01), is handed over unsorted in bulk. Collected quantities: 7,145 Mg (2023), 6,926 Mg (2024), 6,508 Mg (2025), 3,214 Mg (Jan-Jun 2026). The expected total annual quantity for 2026/2027 is approx. 6,500 Mg, of which approx. 1,335 Mg are for six dual systems with a claim for release. The quantity to be collected and recycled by the contractor is reduced to approx. 5,165 Mg/year. The average daily collected quantity in 2025 was around 21.99 Mg per day (262 collection days), with a maximum daily quantity of around 42 Mg. Services include the collection of the PPK fraction at a transshipment point to be provided by the contractor within the city of Göttingen or at the client's transshipment point (Königsbühl construction waste recycling landfill), the release of specific quantities to dual system operators, recycling in an approved final recycling facility, disposal of any resulting contaminants and sorting residues, quantity reporting to dual systems, and documentation of marketing/recycling and monthly quantity verification, further items as per the tender documents.
