Reconstruction of Ship Access Infrastructure in Basin V, Port of Gdynia

Construction works for the reconstruction of ship access infrastructure in Basin V of Gdynia Port: The project is divided into two parts. Part A comprises construction works for the implementation of the project 'Expansion of Ship Access Infrastructure in Basin V – Phase 2' based on project documentation No. 12350 (PRM) / 03.236.2022 (TGD) and building permit No. 45/2025/AN dated 28.04.2025. Part B includes the design and subsequent execution of construction works described in the functional-utility program 'Reconstruction of Rumuńskie Quay including road and rail surface and shore power supply for ships at Rumuńskie and Stanów Zjednoczonych Quays', including obtaining all required administrative decisions. Both parts must be realized according to the client's BIM requirements. The works are divided into stages to maintain continuous ro-ro vessel operations. A part of the project 'Expansion of Ship Access Infrastructure in Basin V – Phase 2' will not be implemented. The contractor will be provided with an area of approx. 2,000 m² in the Basin V area for their facilities. The construction works in Part A include the construction of a new Czeskie Quay line with new ramps A and A', land reclamation of part of Basin V, demolition of ramp B and restoration of the face of United States Quay, dredging works and seabed reinforcement, sanitary works, electrical works, construction of road surface on the reclaimed area and restoration of surfaces after network reconstruction and demolitions, installation of equipment on Czeskie Quay, and implementation of traffic organization in the newly created area. The design and construction works in Part B include the reconstruction of Rumuńskie Quay over approx. 360 m including equipment installation, demolition of ramps at warehouses No. 19 and 21 on the Rumuńskie Quay side, reconstruction of water and sewage networks including equipping Rumuńskie Quay with sewage reception points and water supply points for ships, reconstruction of the electrical network including equipping Rumuńskie and Stanów Zjednoczonych Quays with OPS systems for shore power supply to ro-ro vessels, construction of transformer stations, and delivery of two cable feeders, reconstruction of rail and road surface, and dredging works and seabed reinforcement, further items as per the tender documents.
