Conversion of Háječek Open-Air Cinema into a Multifunctional Year-Round Complex, České Budějovice

Project preparation and documentation (PDZ, PDPS), engineering services, and the complete realization of construction works for the conversion of the Háječek Open-Air Cinema in České Budějovice into a multifunctional year-round complex using the Design&Build method. This includes the construction of a low-rise garden pavilion building with sheet metal cladding, a box for a telescopic grandstand, a projection booth, storage rooms, and toilets for up to 2,000 visitors, as well as underground artist facilities. A retractable roof at 13.5 m height with a diameter of 51.2 m covers most of the auditorium and a free concert area for over 2,000 people. The area fencing for events with ticket sales is designed for high permeability when open and forms a physical and optical barrier when closed, primarily as a rod-type partition with benches and sliding gates. A circular segment of steel rods with bench functionality surrounds the fountain, and adjacent fence areas are designed as steel "accordion" fences. A children's playground with an analogous structure for swing elements is planned. The existing park concept and non-conflicting trees will be preserved. Partial park revitalization and the adjustment of path surfaces outside the cinema area to park-like gravel are part of the project. The existing fountain will be rehabilitated with a paved area and benches, and partially enclosed by metal rods.
