Support for Monitoring EU Wildlife Trade Regulations and EU Action Plan against Wildlife Trafficking
Support for monitoring the implementation and enforcement of the EU Wildlife Trade Regulations: Regulation (EC) No 338/97 (Basic Regulation), Regulation (EC) No 865/2006 (Implementing Regulation), Commission Implementing Regulation (EU) No 792/2012 (Permits Regulation), and Commission Implementing Regulation (EU) No 2025/6 (Suspensions Regulation). This includes carrying out specific tasks required by the Regulations and assisting Member States with implementation and reporting tasks. Furthermore, the European Commission and relevant actors such as Europol and Eurojust are to be supported in implementing the EU Wildlife Action Plan, particularly actions related to the implementation of EU law on wildlife trade.
