Support for Monitoring EU Wildlife Trade Regulations and EU Action Plan against Wildlife Trafficking
Support for monitoring the implementation and enforcement of EU Wildlife Trade Regulations: This includes Regulations (EC) No 338/97 ('Basic Regulation'), (EC) No 865/2006 ('Implementing Regulation'), (EU) No 792/2012 ('Permits Regulation'), and (EU) No 2025/6 ('Suspensions Regulation'). Furthermore, support is provided for carrying out specific tasks required by these Regulations. Member States receive assistance with their implementation and reporting tasks. Additionally, the European Commission and other actors such as Europol and Eurojust are supported in implementing the EU Wildlife Action Plan, particularly actions related to the enforcement of EU wildlife trade law.
