Rail passenger transport services (SPNV) for the S-Bahn Rhein-Neckar (Network 72): Provision on the routes Mannheim – Germersheim - Karlsruhe; Mannheim - Kaiserslautern - Homburg (Saar) - Zweibrücken; Mannheim – Heidelberg – Osterburken/Bad Friedrichshall – Heilbronn; Mannheim – Heidelberg – Karlsruhe; Germersheim – Graben-Neudorf – Bruchsal; Ludwigshafen – Ludwigshafen BASF Nord; Mannheim – Neu Edingen-Friedrichsfeld - Bensheim (-Darmstadt); Mannheim – Mainz (- Wiesbaden); Mannheim – MA-Handelshafen / MA-Käfertal - Groß-Rohrheim; Mannheim – Schwetzingen – Karlsruhe; (Mannheim –) Heidelberg – Eppingen / Aglasterhausen /Bad Friedrichshall - Heilbronn; Heidelberg – Neu Edingen-Friedrichsfeld; Schwetzingen – Neu Edingen-Friedrichsfeld. Optional routes include Worms – Bensheim / Biblis and Weinheim (Bergstr) – Fürth (Odenwald). The services are tendered in two lots with lot limitation as a gross contract, with presumed commissioning from December 2033. One lot includes new vehicles, the other existing SFBW vehicles in the BW model. The scope of services per lot is between 6 and 9 million train-km per year. The contract duration is 15 years. Adjustments to the routes and the division of services into lots are not yet finalized.
