Traffic Signs, Framework Agreement 2026/2027

Delivery of traffic signs: The signs consist of 2 mm thick aluminum sheet or equivalent material, complying with the framework conditions defined by the quality association. Other sheet thicknesses are noted in the bill of quantities. Shape and size conform to the latest StVO, VwV-StVO, VzKat, ZTV VZ, M LV, and TLP VZ standards; advance direction signs, arrow direction signs, and tabular direction signs must comply with RWB. All traffic signs must bear the RAL quality mark with the identification number of the Güteschutzgemeinschaft e.V., the CE mark with extension, the ownership note "Stadt Essen Amt für Straßen und Verkehr", and the month and year of delivery in weather-resistant design on the reverse side. Drill holes are 7 mm Ø, except for advance direction signs, arrow direction signs, and tabular direction signs; drilling must follow IVZ standard Lochplan I with a 70 mm hole spacing. The quantities listed in the bill of quantities are estimated based on experience and correspond to the average annual call-offs; they may be exceeded or undershot, with the difference between the estimated and called-off quantity not exceeding 100%.
