Preparation for integral reconstruction of the Rembrandtplein area in Lichtenvoorde: The existing pavement is outdated, the sewage system requires replacement, and the public space offers insufficient opportunities for climate adaptation, sustainability, and quality of life. There is a need for more green spaces, improved rainwater infiltration, and a design that aligns with residents' wishes and municipal sustainability goals. A carefully designed participation and environmental process is essential for the success of the reconstruction. The project area includes wholly or partially the Patronaatsstraat, Van Heijdenstraat, Dominee van Krevelenstraat, Gert Reindersstraat, Bronckhorststraat, Rode van Heeckerenstraat, Dokter Besselinkstraat, Nieuwe Maat, Oude Altenseweg, Rembrandtplein, Hugo de Grootstraat, Vondelstraat, Doktor Schaepmanstraat, Doctor Ariënsstraat, Kardinaal de Jongstraat, Julianastraat, Bernhardstraat, and Wilhelminastraat.
