Heat Extraction for Biomass Combined Heat and Power Plant Kaindl
Delivery of biogenic or decarbonized heat or waste heat from regenerative primary energy sources to Salzburg AG, generated by a combined heat and power (CHP) plant of Kaindl Energy GmbH in Wals-Siezenheim with a fuel heat output of approximately 145 MW, a thermal output of approximately 100 MW, and an electrical output of approximately 32 MW. This includes the construction of a heat transfer station with grid feed-in and buffer storage at the Kaindl site, featuring a maximum thermal transfer capacity of 55 MW for feeding into Salzburg AG's district heating network.
