Carpentry and Timber Construction for New Zoo Restaurant at Zoo Frankfurt

Carpentry and timber construction for the new zoo restaurant at Zoo Frankfurt: The restaurant comprises two above-ground floors and one basement floor with a gross volume of approx. 3,600 m³ on an area of approx. 1,500 m² including outdoor terraces. Executed are curtain wall elements with ventilated board-on-board larch wood cladding (approx. 225 m² on facade, ground and upper floors), consisting of timber frame construction with web girders, thermal insulation from cellulose fibers, OSB sheathing, and vertical larch wood cladding. Interior wall cladding made of larch wood boards (approx. 85 m²) for the dining areas on the ground and upper floors, matching the appearance of the exterior cladding.
