What is CPV Code 19?

CPV Code 19 in the Common Procurement Vocabulary stands for Leather & Textiles. Leather and textile fabrics, plastic and rubber materials. This code is part of the EU's standardized classification system for public procurement, enabling consistent description of contract subjects across all member states.

Typical Products and Services

CPV Code 19 covers the following areas among others:

  • Leather goods
  • Textile fabrics
  • Industrial textiles

  • Ropes

The full CPV nomenclature includes numerous sub-groups under the main code 19, allowing for precise classification of specific goods and services. Contracting authorities typically use more detailed sub-codes to accurately describe the subject of their contracts.

  • Municipal administrations regularly award contracts in this area
  • Regional authorities and ministries tender larger projects
  • Federal agencies use this code for central procurement

  • Public enterprises such as utilities also award contracts under this code

Delivery and Installation of Aerobic Waste Processing Technology for the Composting Plant in Bieruń

Delivery and installation of aerobic waste processing technology in a membrane system for the composting plant in Bieruń: includes training for a maximum of 10 personnel and technological start-up. The system is based on semi-permeable membranes, positive aeration, and a control system, equipped with closed, membrane-covered bioreactors meeting BAT requirements. It is intended for composting all biodegradable/organic waste, including sewage sludge and biowaste (green, kitchen), and must be capable of hygienization (maximum 15 days of composting) and organic stabilization processes. Operation is without waste bed irrigation, with channels for process leachate drainage. Composting duration is a maximum of 50 days, consisting of at least two phases (minimum 20 days, maximum 25 days each), with waste turned once after the first three weeks and a mass loss of at least 15% of the input material. The system must allow mixing of composted waste with structural material (wood chips 40-120 mm, pre-shredded branches) in a 1:1 mass ratio. After the membrane process, screening occurs with a mesh size of 15-25 mm; the undersize fraction is finished compost, the oversize fraction is reusable as structural material, with a recovery rate of at least 70%. The resulting compost must be marketable. The installation of membranes and automation (probes, computer set), as well as commissioning and personnel training, must be personally performed by the contractor; reliance on third-party resources for these key tasks is excluded.
