Quality marks are required in public tenders under § 34 VgV. Key labels include Blue Angel (most common in Germany), EU Ecolabel, FSC/PEFC, Fairtrade, and GS mark.
Equivalence clause: contracting authorities must accept equivalent labels or other suitable evidence.
