Waste Management and Transport for the Power Grid
Waste management, transport, and treatment of hazardous and non-hazardous waste generated within the service area of MVM Démász Áramhálózati Kft. (including waste from external contractors): collection at the client's sites, substations, and individual construction sites, provision of waste collection containers, loading, and full waste coordination. The framework agreement duration is 24 months or until the total framework amount of net 448,284,311 Ft is fully utilized, with a call-off obligation of 70% of the framework amount. The estimated waste quantity for 2 years is 10,326,041 kg, including: concrete debris 6,233,617 kg, dismantled wooden poles 803,486 kg, mixed construction-demolition waste (free of mercury, PCB, other hazardous waste) 653,550 kg, Alu/steel (ACSR) overhead line waste 539,391 kg, other non-steel containing waste (e.g., foreign material, porcelain) 438,067 kg, scrap transformers NOT containing halogen compounds 425,253 kg, aluminum overhead line (e.g., bare wire) 298,424 kg, insulating porcelains 175,803 kg, doseable waste (smaller than 0.5x0.5x1.5 m) 153,206 kg, insulated aluminum overhead line waste 138,029 kg, aluminum underground cable waste 62,232 kg, scrap electricity meter (1-phase) 56,819 kg, scrap electricity meter (3-phase) 50,504 kg, wood packaging waste (e.g., drum, pallet) 41,790 kg, mixed metal waste 40,816 kg, scrap electrical meter 31,999 kg, non-recyclable plastic (e.g., cable scraps, meter cabinet) 28,933 kg, epoxy insulator 23,008 kg, used oil 21,864 kg, oil-contaminated soil, stone, gravel 21,070 kg. Additional services for 2 years include: waste collection prior to transport (e.g., mixed waste abandoned around sites) 4 units, suction and flushing of industrial wastewater from oil separators, shafts, internal industrial channels 2 units, takeover and certified destruction of shredded papers and electronic data carriers (if not subject to concession) 2 units. Full waste coordination involves transport organization, processing and tracking of transport and collection container needs, communication with requesters, transporters, receiving sites, follow-up of completed transports (by contractor, MOHU, and their subcontractors), use of relevant software (MOHU partner portal, client's waste tracking application), electronic submission of transport documents for monthly billing, and paper-based annually. The contractor must collect the waste within 5 working days of order or on the requested transport day. The contractor is responsible for providing appropriate collection containers for hazardous and non-hazardous waste, a baling machine (1 unit at Szeged Pulz utca 42) including service and maintenance, training of personnel, and exchange pallets for pallet transport. The contractor provides auxiliary personnel, equipment, machines, and vehicles for loading and transport. An annual price adjustment is possible based on the officially published industrial producer price index of KSH for the preceding 12 months.
