Expansion of National Road 22, Malbork - Królewo Section

Expansion of National Road 22 on the section Malbork - Królewo: Design services, preparation of project documentation including all necessary opinions, approvals, and decisions, such as the permit for the implementation of the road investment, as well as preparation of as-built documentation. The contract includes the execution of all other works and elaborations necessary for the design and realization of the investment, obtaining administrative decisions allowing for the use of the investment, and the expansion of National Road from km 358+200 to km 361+754. This involves the replacement and strengthening of the pavement structure up to 115 kN/axle, new construction and reconstruction of intersections with lower category roads and other public roads, modernization of a viaduct over the railway line (PKP) and a pedestrian and bicycle tunnel, new construction and reconstruction of culverts, acoustic screens, bus stops, pedestrian crossings and combined pedestrian and bicycle crossings with dedicated lighting. Furthermore, new construction and reconstruction of pedestrian and bicycle paths, sidewalks, a technological duct, and a complete drainage system (including rainwater sewerage, stormwater treatment facilities, and road ditches) are planned. The contract also covers new construction and reconstruction of street lighting and public and private access roads, construction of stormwater treatment facilities, reconstruction and securing of conflicting technical infrastructure networks and facilities, construction of environmental protection facilities, clearing of trees and shrubs, landscaping of green areas, installation of vertical and horizontal signage and road safety elements, cleaning and clearing of existing outlets. After completion of the works, full recultivation of the occupied areas will take place, including technical and social facilities, construction sites, and temporary roads. Additionally, repairs to restore roads, properties used by the contractor, or damaged buildings to a technical condition no worse than before construction began, restoration, determination, or demarcation of road right-of-way boundaries, and connection of the section to the existing communication system with possible reconstruction and changes in traffic organization are required. Finally, ground reinforcement and ensuring the stability of excavation and embankment slopes are part of the contract. Estimated contract value over 20 million Euro.
