Platform renewal and reconstruction works at Gaildorf West Station: Renewal and extension of middle platform Gl 2/3 to 220 m length with a target height of 76 cm; adjustment of track position (track 3) for platform extension; demolition of existing elevator shafts and construction of two new elevator pits for standard elevators according to Ril 813.0460; adaptation of access stairs for elevator access; complete renewal of the station's lighting system with media separation; renewal of platform equipment (vitrines, waste bins, signage according to equipment catalog Cat. 6); replacement of existing weather shelters; implementation of barrier-free access through ground-level access to the home platform, barrier-free access to platform 2 via the elevator system, tactile guidance systems on the middle platform, and new signage for the wayfinding system.
