Construction works for a bypass in Břeclav: Elimination of traffic problems on the exposed Class I road through the built-up urban area of Břeclav and the adjacent section of road I/40 through Poštorná. The technical parameters of the existing road sections do not meet the requirements for safe, smooth, and high-capacity transit traffic from highway D2 to the Czech-Austrian border. The new route will be constructed outside the built-up area, primarily across agricultural land, to reduce negative environmental impacts on residential areas.
