Consulting Services for Permanent Road Stabilization, Republic Road II-58, Km 4+350, Kardzhali Region

Consulting services for the permanent stabilization of Republic Road II-58, section from Km 4+250 to Km 4+450 in the Kardzhali region: preparation of a comprehensive conformity assessment report, technical control of the structural part, and construction supervision. The road section is Class II, mountainous terrain, with a gauge of G10.50 m (2 traffic lanes of 3.75 m each, 2 shoulders of 1.50 m each). The pavement structure includes 4 cm dense asphalt concrete type A, 4 cm open-graded asphalt concrete, 15 cm crushed stone pavement, and 35 cm ballast base. An existing temporary stabilization structure is present, drainage is superficial with longitudinal and transverse slopes, a lined ditch with drainage, and a culvert with Ø 800 at Km 4+359 are also present. The pavement was rehabilitated in 2024. An emergency platform 3.00 m wide is located at Km 4+300 left. A revision of the existing technical project for permanent stabilization is required to create a new technical project, which will serve as the basis for the building permit and construction execution. The investment project (design documentation) must be prepared according to the design brief (Appendix A). The scope of services includes activities as per the Employer's Requirements (Appendix 1).
