Star Cameras for Satellite Attitude Control
Delivery of at least two (2) flight-ready high-precision star sensors as Flight Models (FM) for the Attitude Determination and Control System (ADCS) equipment of two 16U small satellites in Low-Earth-Orbit (LEO, approx. 500 km, sun-synchronous orbit - SSO): The star sensors are used for highly accurate attitude determination of the satellite platform and specifically support precise alignment for an optical laser communication payload. This includes hardware, technical documentation, integration/acceptance support, and evidence for qualification, flight heritage, and Factory Acceptance Test (FAT) / System Integration Test (SIT). Optionally, up to three additional Flight Models (FM), one Engineering Model (EM), EGSE/laboratory test equipment, and further optional services can be ordered.
