Broadband network construction and operation for the City of Waldenbuch
Construction and operation of a comprehensive high-speed network in Waldenbuch: Provision of high-speed broadband telecommunication services for all citizens in the project area starting July 2027. The concessionaire plans, constructs, commissions, and operates the NGA network long-term. Services include planning and construction of passive broadband infrastructure, installation and operation of active network technology, ensuring powerful and non-discriminatory network operation, provision of market-standard telecommunication services (Internet, telephony, possibly TV) for end customers, and non-discriminatory wholesale products on an Open-Access basis. Utilization of existing own and public infrastructures, as well as rental from third parties, is foreseen. Operation must comply with federal funding regulations (guideline from 22.10.2015) and the state of Baden-Württemberg (VwV Broadband Co-financing from 30.01.2019); further items as per the tender documents.
