Aptitude diagnostic consulting services: Execution of selection procedures for GAD career paths (middle, higher, senior foreign service) with 1 written and 1 oral procedure per calendar year for each career path. This includes training cohorts of 30-50 persons (middle service, 500-1,000 applications), study cohorts of 30-100 persons (higher service, 950-1,400 applications), and training cohorts of approx. 30-50 persons (senior service, 1,400-2,700 applications). Additionally, approx. 3 internal selection procedures for further qualification/promotion from the collective bargaining sector/middle service to the higher service and from the higher to the senior service. Annually up to 10 civil servants of the higher service for an 18-month qualification measure (lateral entry), and approx. 3-5 selection procedures for lecturers at the Foreign Service Academy for permanent or temporary teaching positions. For collective bargaining employees, typically two oral procedures for approx. 20-30 positions in foreign language assistance with foreign deployment (200-300 applications), approx. 25 procedures for about 100 positions in administrative/office support (technical, non-technical, IT), approx. 15 procedures for 20 positions for specialists (technical, non-technical, IT), and approx. 10 selection procedures for drivers, house and order service, telephone exchange, caretakers are planned. At the BfAA, approx. 8 selection procedures annually for positions in general administrative service or specialized workplaces are conducted.
