Renewal of Marientor Sluice Gate: Concrete, Reinforced Concrete, and Hydraulic Steelwork, plus EMSR Technology
Renewal of the "Mariensperrtor" flood protection system (approx. 17.0 m length, 4.53 m width, 16.80 m height): Demolition and disposal of the existing sluice gate including drive, sluice chamber closure, hall cranes, pumps, electrical installations, fixtures, machinery, and other systems. Hydraulic steelwork includes the manufacturing and installation of a new suspended sliding gate in folding structure design (incl. gate bridge and drive), a sluice chamber closure as a miter gate (incl. drive), a new second stop log closure as a revision closure, adaptation of the existing emergency stop log closure (incl. new construction/conversion of bearing structures), and the manufacturing and installation of spindle gates. EMSR technology involves the installation of all associated electrical, measurement, control, and regulation technology, including fire protection and intrusion monitoring, transformer and switchgear, remote data transmission. Installation of wastewater pumps, stainless steel and PE pipes with fittings (valves, aerators/deaerators, backflow preventers). Solid construction work includes structural adjustments to the sluice chamber, passage sole, and pump hall, manufacturing/closing of wall openings in the gate hall, concrete repair of the sluice chamber, construction of a new crane parking area and new stop log storage. Other equipment includes staircase, railings, bird protection, folding walkway, pits and shaft covers, intermediate platforms, doors/gates/windows, and hall cranes.
