Replacement Construction of Roemershag Valley Bridge

Bridge construction for the replacement of the Roemershag Valley Bridge: Topsoil works including terrain modeling and renaturation, earthworks, bridge construction as a continuous girder over five spans with steel composite triple-web girders and spatial truss in the pier axes, as well as additional truss panels in the abutment axes. The deck slab consists of precast elements with in-situ concrete infill (cantilevers made of pure in-situ concrete). Main dimensions include a total length between end supports of 322.00 m, span widths of 49.0 m + 63.0 m + 70.0 m + 77.0 m + 63.0 m, a width including caps of 15.75 m or 15.925 m, a width between railings of 31.10 m, a construction height of 6.013 m, and a clear height between 3.00 m (abutment) and approx. 39.00 m at Höllgraben. Demolition works include the relief structure (bored piles and slab) behind the Würzburg abutment, as well as all temporary structures (1st and 2nd construction phases), with girders to be cut 1.0 m below the new ground level. Equipment works, construction of an earth basin system with a retention and a sedimentation basin, and other drainage systems, road and route construction works with structure access roads are also included. A noise barrier on the Würzburg direction carriageway is to be erected in front of, on, and behind the structure, with absorption concrete wall elements in the route section and transparent acrylic glass wall elements in the structure section. Marking works, cable civil engineering works, and electrical installations are planned. Construction will be carried out in operating mode 2 (6-day week with full utilization of daylight), and traffic safety measures must also be performed at night.
