Extension of the railway siding for DP World in Wolfenbüttel-Linden

Track construction works for the extension of the DP World railway siding in Wolfenbüttel-Linden: New track construction (extension) includes the raising and extension of tracks 4 and 4a by 340 m, connection by a switch, construction of a new track 7 leading through a loading hall with a loading ramp, and the erection of 4 track support troughs (L=7.50 m x W=3.80 m, approx. 30 m ramp length). Track 7 has a radius of 120 m over 131 m and will receive sleeper caps. Additionally, shunting paths and light masts with foundations will be constructed. This comprises new track construction works of 720 m with subgrade protection layer and deep drainage. Replacement construction and modification include the replacement construction of safety switch L2 (secured by a bolt lock), siding track 5, connecting track 6, and tracks 1, 2, and 3. For this, 850 m of track will be dismantled, track ballast cleaned, and sleepers and rails renewed. Three additional switches will be renovated, 6 switches dismantled, and 2 switches dismantled and reinstalled elsewhere. In track 1, 15 track support troughs (L=7.50 m x W=3.80 m) will be installed in the ramp area. Additionally, light masts with foundations will be erected.
