Expansion and Modification Works for Seinäjoki Central Hospital Central Kitchen

Expansion and modification works for the central kitchen of Seinäjoki Central Hospital, K-building section: Construction of a cold preparation kitchen, office and break rooms for kitchen staff with necessary ancillary facilities. The contract type is a divided contract, with the construction contractor acting as the main contractor, responsible for project execution and site management according to YSE98. Building services contracts (HVAC/LVIKAS) are executed as sub-contracts under the main contract. Separate contracts are made for each trade, and sub-contractors must accept and sign a subordination agreement (RT 80271). High standards for hospital construction must be met, including cleanliness management (P1 construction method), hygiene, lifecycle and wear resistance, and logistical systematic execution, without entitlement to additional compensation or time extensions. The scope includes construction and HVAC/building services works (LVIKAS), including demolition works, with each contractor performing demolition works within their own field. The work area also includes tasks outside the defined contract area as per construction and HVAC plans. Restoration of the work area, structures, surfaces, systems, and equipment to their original state before work commencement is required for all contractors for tasks performed outside the contract area.
