Specialized Planning for Technical Equipment Group 6 for Baggage Handling System Modernization
Specialized planning for technical equipment group 6 according to §53 para. 2 HOAI: Modernization of the baggage handling system in Terminal 1 (T1) at Frankfurt/Main Airport to replace the WETEC control technology from the 1970s. The project scope includes 19 systems with approx. 1,540 drives. The service is divided into three sections: Service stage 1 comprises project stages 1 (basic evaluation), 2 (preliminary design), and 3 (detailed design) for all 19 systems. Project section 2 includes project stages 5 (execution planning), 6 (preparation for award), 7 (assistance in award), and 8 (object supervision and documentation) for the pilot system "HAG021". Project section 3 includes project stages 5 to 8 for the remaining 18 systems, time-delayed after completion of the pilot. Execution start is Q2/2027, execution end Q3/2037.
