Specialized Planning for Technical Equipment (ELT): Consideration of public development for telecommunications connection, planning of possible redundancies and connection of further institute buildings (campus networking). The medium voltage system in the basement of Building 3405, which supplies 3 transformers (1,600 KVA via circuit breaker, 1,000 KVA via circuit breaker, 630 KVA via HH-fuse load switch), must be designed for the future power demand of the Max Planck Institute for Gravitational Physics in Hannover and adapted to a common power level. The 1,600 KVA transformer separately supplies a server system with its own NSHV. An interim supply for the changeover of the transformer systems must be established to maintain institute operations and minimize downtime. The necessity of an emergency power supply (SV) must be examined based on official requirements (e.g., sprinklers, mechanical smoke extraction).
