Technical Equipment (HVAC) Planning for Clinic Building Conversion in Jena
Technical Equipment (HVAC) Planning: General renovation and conversion of two listed clinic buildings (former Urology, built 1914 with annex 1991; former ENT, built 1928) in Jena into an institute building for the Max Planck Institute for Geoanthropology. The buildings are each 4-story with partially lit basement and undeveloped gable floor. The institute building includes office and ancillary areas, seminar rooms, a laboratory area with storage, server rooms, and a Decision Theatre. The highly-installed experimental area will be located in the annex of the former Urology building, with office and communication areas in the listed part of Urology and the ENT building. Services include specialist planning according to § 55 HOAI in conjunction with Annex 15 to HOAI 2021 for plant groups 1, 2, 3, and 7 in service phases 2 to 9, as well as special services. The project will be executed as a BIM project using the Open-BIM method, including BIM-related services, coordination services, and the creation, updating, and provision of specialist models.
