Specialized Planning for Technical Equipment (ELT) for Conversion and Renovation of two Clinic Buildings in Jena
Specialized Planning for Technical Equipment (ELT): General renovation and conversion of two listed clinic buildings (former Urology, built 1914 with an annex from 1991; former ENT, built 1928) in Jena into an institute building for the Max Planck Institute for Geoanthropology. The buildings are each 4-story with a partially lit basement and an undeveloped gable floor. The planning includes plant groups 4, 5, and 6 according to HOAI 2021 in service phases 2, 3, and 5 to 9, as well as special services. The institute building will comprise office spaces, seminar rooms, a laboratory area with storage, server rooms, and a Decision Theatre. The highly installed experimental area will be located in the annex of the former Urology, while office and communication areas will be in the listed part of the Urology and in the ENT building. The project will be executed as a BIM project using the Open-BIM method, including BIM-related services, coordination services, and the creation, updating, and provision of specialized models.
