Technical Building Equipment Planning for the Renovation of the Engelbert-Kaempfer-Gymnasium Single Sports Hall

Technical planning for the energy-efficient renovation of the Engelbert-Kaempfer-Gymnasium single sports hall: The goal is to reduce primary energy demand by 57.8% and CO2 emissions by 44.4%. The renovation includes the building envelope, ventilation system, heat generation and distribution, and lighting. Planning involves insulation of external walls, a sustainable facade solution with greening of the south facade, energetic renovation of the hall roof including skylights, ventilation systems with heat recovery for changing areas, heat distribution via ceiling radiant panels with district heating supply, LED lighting with motion detectors, and the establishment of accessibility according to DIN 18044 Part 1. The energy concept by Werk.E Energie-Effizienz-Beratung GmbH & Co. KG serves as the planning basis. Commissioning will be phased, initially for service phases 1 to 4, with an option for service phases 5 to 9. Implementation must comply with EFRE/JTF-Programm NRW funding guidelines.
