Road marking works: include preparatory works such as the removal of continuous and non-continuous longitudinal markings, arrows, hatchings, STOP signs, bus stops, transverse markings, and pedestrian crossings without damaging the pavement, thorough cleaning of surfaces to be marked including immediate waste removal, removal of loose thermoplastic parts, work preceding the application of markings such as drying and sweeping, tracing of new markings, delivery and application of an adhesive layer on concrete and bituminous pavements, and application of primer on existing old markings. This includes the application of durable road markings, including longitudinal markings in continuous and non-continuous stripes of various widths on concrete and bituminous pavements (axis and edge markings must be white), cycle path coating over the full width of cycle paths at intersections and roundabouts, cycle suggestion strips, road paint, thermoplastic or cold plastic markings (also with improved retroreflection at night, in rain, and on wet roads), and preformed markings. The dimensions of the road markings must comply with the General Circular on Road Signage, and only products forming a "marking system" with technical approval and certificate (ATG usability certificate) according to PTVs are to be used. Furthermore, unforeseen works, night or weekend work for road markings, the provision of basic equipment for site signage for category 6 works including minor additions, the removal and reinstallation of existing signage where necessary, and the provision of personnel, hand tools, and equipment for the execution of smaller and unforeseen works according to service order are included. Additional signage with crash attenuators on roads with a permitted speed of more than 90 km/h will only be compensated separately for unforeseen works, if explicitly stated in the service order. All works to be carried out according to service order outside normal working hours are considered a lump-sum surcharge and will be compensated separately according to the specified item. The services also include the maintenance of works during the warranty period and the measurement of day visibility (Qd) and night visibility (RL).
