Riverbank Conservation and Non-Infrastructural Improvement Measures for the Galicia-Costa Hydrographic Demarcation River Basins
Riverbank conservation and non-infrastructural improvement measures in the public hydraulic domain of the Galicia-Costa Hydrographic Demarcation river basins: The main objective is the naturalization of the water channels. Services include environmental conditioning of affected sections, sediment removal, elimination of obstacles in riverbeds and servitude zones, removal of wood blockages, tree felling and pruning. Additionally, specific actions such as restoration (recovery of natural structure and function), rehabilitation (recovery of a near-natural state), environmental improvement (increase of river value), and adaptation of fluvial sections (recreational, protection) are included. Data collection, report writing, and communication among participants are also part of the scope.
