Building Automation Works for Imatra Fire Station

Building automation works for Imatra Fire Station: Construction of a new fire and rescue station in Imatra, Korvenkanta district (Piikatu 4, 55120 Imatra). The project also includes facilities for the Southeast Finland Police Department, storage and garage buildings, and a mobile, container-type backup power generator. The facility will also be used by the South Karelia wellbeing services county's emergency medical services and Tainionkoski VPK (volunteer fire department). This is a sub-contract within a divided overall project, which includes construction, HVAC, electrical, and earthworks. The sub-contracts, including plumbing and cooling works, ventilation works, electrical works, and building automation works, are subordinated to the main contractor. The total project budget is 8,200,000 Euro, including the main contract, all subordinated sub-contracts, and client procurements. The construction site requires handling of TLIV-classified material, necessitating secure facilities on-site and in contractors' own offices. Plans for police facilities are security-classified. Plans for the police facilities can be viewed on July 8, 2026, from 8:00 to 16:00 at the Lappeenranta administrative building, Villimiehenkatu 2b, after signing a non-disclosure agreement. The construction area is located in an important groundwater protection area.
