Scaffolding works for the renovation of Olympiaturm and Atrium

Scaffolding works: Space frame scaffolding for the basket level with a cylindrical base area of 530 m² and an average height of approx. 6 m; ropeway with a loading/unloading height difference of approx. 170 m; space frame scaffolding for the visitor basket with a cylindrical base area of 163 m² and facade scaffolding with a height of approx. 17.1 m. The reference area of the facade to be renovated is 1,100 m². Scaffolding works are from level +167.70 to approx. +193.00, designed as a circular or segmented scaffold following the tower's diameter, with a floor plan divided into 36 individual sections. Scaffolding construction Part 1 "Postkorb OK" from approx. +167.70 to approx. 179.00 serves as a substructure for the actual facade scaffolding required for facade renovation from 179.15 to approx. 191.00 m parapet top terrace level 14 (visitor platform). Full scaffolding with a weather protection cover is planned, including measures for fall protection of persons and parts. Lifting equipment for own material is the contractor's responsibility, with internal elevators available for free use.
