Watercourse restoration of the Ahr in the Insul locality: enlargement of the watercourse corridor to create retention space for flood discharges and reduce flood and erosion risks up to an HQ100 discharge. Services include foreland removal (clearing and utilizing vegetative topsoil, removing topsoil and placing it on a mound, loosening and utilizing subsoil, creating a subgrade, loading and applying topsoil), embankment stabilization (temporary excavation and mounding, creating a subgrade, delivering, assembling, and installing embankment stabilization with a stone-filled system of river mattresses and separation and filter layers, closing excavation areas with temporarily stored soil), adjustment of the Hahnenstein Mill's bed sill to the newly modeled foreland (delivering and installing weir stones, delivering and installing rock for packing layer between the weirs, delivering and installing hydraulic engineering stones for downstream bed stabilization), adjustment of manholes to the new foreland level (shortening precast concrete manholes by removing a shaft ring), and vegetation works (loosening subsoil, fine grading, seeding). All earthworks must be carried out with accompanying ordnance detection.
