Flood Protection Measures for Blechwalzwerk Weir and Embankment in Olbernhau

Construction services for flood protection measures on the Flöha river in Olbernhau: Clearing of the construction site with approx. 550 m³ topsoil removal; construction of approx. 2,150 m² construction road for site access and dismantling of approx. 850 m²; erection of an approx. 170 m sheet pile cofferdam (height above planned riverbed 1 m) and an approx. 80 m BigBag cofferdam; provision of approx. 50 road plates for temporary water crossing; construction of a ramp for water access from approx. 120 m³ coarse aggregate; manual demolition of approx. 3 m³ reinforced concrete weir sill; installation of hydraulic engineering stones: approx. 1,080 m³ stone fill LMB 10/60, approx. 60 t HMB 300/1000, groynes from approx. 1,500 t HMB 1000/3000; construction of a base for stone fill from gravel 22/56 to 32/63; construction and dismantling of approx. 1,400 m² construction road on stone fill; demolition of approx. 380 m³ embankment riprap; construction of an approx. 250 m cofferdam from existing precast reinforced concrete elements; construction of approx. 131 m construction road in the water and approx. 16 m water crossing from reinforced concrete slabs; construction of approx. 750 m² riprap in the embankment from broken stones on filter layer (50% HMB 300/1000, 50% existing stones); delivery and installation of approx. 330 t filter material for stone setting (gravel base course 0-56 mm); repair of approx. 100 m² existing riprap in the embankment; construction of an approx. 131 m pilot stone row with edge length 0.8 - 1.0 m. Execution period: November 16, 2026 to June 30, 2028, with the construction road to the water and right-bank operational areas to be completed by December 17, 2026, and construction start for the weir renovation from April 12, 2027. Alternative bids and submission of multiple main bids are not permitted. A performance bond of 5% of the gross contract sum and a warranty bond for defects of 3% are required. Proofs of suitability include the self-declaration of suitability (FB 124), self-declaration of suitability MiLoG, and declaration on the processing of personal data.
