Infrastructure development for the landside area of Liszt Ferenc Airport
Reconstruction of approach roads and associated utility network at Liszt Ferenc International Airport: Capacity expansion and modernization through a new road and utility network, parking facilities, and pedestrian paths. The planned road network covers 53,000 m², featuring 2- to 3-lane collector, service, and bypass roads connecting to existing arrival and departure levels. A new overpass structure with a clear span of 16.6 m is required for connecting network elements. Existing parking areas near the terminal will be demolished and replaced by a new facility for approx. 1,000 vehicles with asphalt paving, utilities, public lighting, landscaping, and related buildings, connected to the "J" Gate road. The entire utility network within the area, including main collectors for stormwater drainage, sewage, drinking water and fire water networks, IT and electrical networks, and associated substructures, will be reconstructed. 100% of recyclable materials from road pavement demolition must be recycled or transported to a designated depot for later recycling and qualification. During works, protection of bird and mammal species, as well as continuous 24/7 traffic maintenance and airport operation, must be ensured. Services include demolition and construction works according to specifications, replacement of existing 11kV feeder cables, planning and permitting support for a car wash, preparation of further documentation (traffic engineering, demolition, organization), restoration works, preparation of technical acceptance and as-built documentation, correction of defects within the warranty period, and all other tasks detailed in the procurement documents, in compliance with all relevant legal, aviation, and technical regulations; further items as per the tender documents.
