Minor Building and Carpentry Works for Children's Health Ireland

Minor building and carpentry works for Children's Health Ireland (CHI) across all sites, including the National Children’s Hospital Ireland (commissioning 2026), CHI at Crumlin, CHI at Temple Street, CHI at Connolly, and CHI at Tallaght. The framework agreement has a duration of 36 months with an option to extend for a maximum of one year. Services include the supply of materials for minor works and carpentry, which will be invoiced separately; CHI reserves the right to price check materials and purchase directly. Typical project values range from approximately €2,000 to €25,000 per project. Examples include toilet/bathroom/shower room refurbishment, wet room development, office reconfiguration/wall cladding, minor roof works, office moves, and infrastructure maintenance such as wall pinning/down pipe replacement. Contracts will be awarded to the top 4 bidders, forming a panel/framework. Jobs valued at €25,000 or under will automatically go to the bidder ranked number 1; CHI may also include other framework members. Work exceeding €25,000 will be priced among the four bidders and awarded to the lowest bid. A cascade system applies if the preferred bidder is unavailable. CHI may extend the request for quotation to the wider market if bids are deemed poor value for money or exceed the available budget.
