Medium 4x4 Rescue and Firefighting Vehicle for the Volunteer Fire Department Domecko
Delivery of a medium 4x4 rescue and firefighting vehicle: The vehicle must comply with Polish road traffic regulations, requirements for emergency vehicles, and specific ministerial ordinances (Dz.U. 2021 poz. 450, Dz. U. Nr 143 poz. 1002, Dz. U. 2019 poz. 594). It must be marked with the operational numbers of the State Fire Service according to Zarządzenie nr 1 Komendanta Głównego PSP of January 24, 2020 and possess a valid CNBOP-PIB approval certificate and an up-to-date chassis homologation certificate. The vehicle must meet PN-EN 1846-1 and 1846-2 standards, be factory new with a chassis production year of at least 2024, and have the engine, chassis, and cabin from the same manufacturer. It is to be a medium class M vehicle (according to PN-EN 1846-2) and Category 2 – off-road (according to PN-EN 1846-1). The total mass of the vehicle ready for action must not exceed 16,000 kg. The vehicle ready for action must have an approach angle of at least 27º, a departure angle of at least 25º, ground clearance under the axles of at least 300 mm, a total height of maximum 3,300 mm (with a two-section ladder), a total length of maximum 8,300 mm, and a ramp angle of at least 24º. A mass reserve of at least 12% of the technical permissible total mass is required. The drive system includes permanent all-wheel drive (no disconnectable front axle drive), a reduction gear, axle differential locks, and hub reductions. Wheels and tires consist of single wheels on the front axle and twin wheels on the rear, with universal all-season tread, all of the same type. The compression ignition engine must be suitable for continuous operation, with a minimum power of 210 kW and a minimum torque of 1,050 Nm, and comply with EURO 6 emission standards. A mechanical gearbox with a maximum of 6+1 gears (reverse) is specified. The vehicle is also equipped with disc brakes on all axles, ABS, mechanical suspension front and rear, an exhaust brake with at least 120 kW power, and an automatic DPF regeneration system with manual deactivation option and contamination level indicator. The cabin is a four-door, single-module construction with a galvanized steel frame, engine access with a safety system, seating arrangement 1+1+4 (forward-facing seats), and an anti-slip floor. A crew cabin achieved by screwing/gluing a day cabin with a crew cabin module is excluded. Cabin equipment includes at least: individual lighting for the commander, a transverse grab handle for the crew in the rear of the cabin, a cabin cabinet for small equipment, electrically controlled windows in all cabin doors, a right-side curb mirror, a front ramp mirror, an external sun visor at the top of the cabin, an indicator for the parking heater status, a factory radio with AUX and USB connection, mountings for 4 breathing apparatus (ODO) allowing self-donning without removal from the rack, including space for the ODO mask, and mountings for 2 breathing apparatus (for commander and driver) in the superstructure front on a pull-out panel with mountings for 2 spare cylinders; further items as per the tender documents.
